Goldenstate officials with IQUAME assessors
Institutional Monitoring and Evaluation for Quality Education (IQUAME) has been recently conducted at Goldenstate College on April 22 – 24, 2008. The College is the first among many institutions in General Santos City to have complied CHED requirements for monitoring and evaluation. The purpose of such an evaluation is to assess quality of education and systems employed in the institution.

The CEO and the Secretary
On April 11, 2008, Goldenstate College held its 16th Commencement Exercise at Lagao Gymnasium this city. Former DILG Secretary Atty. Jose D. Lina Jr. attended the occasion as guest speaker during the occasion along with special guests from the US Embassy in Manila in person of Theodore C. Lopez, ICE Attache for the Department of Homeland Security, US Embassy Manila and Juan J. Adarmes from the same office.
Atty. Lina did not only inspire the 1,200 graduates in his message but as well as provided a song number as his graduation present to all that was there.
It was the first time in a graduation program that a song number was rendered by the guest speaker. Parents, visitors and graduates alike are in high spirits until the program came to an end. (Uploaded by Roger Pauya)

The new pre-school building of Goldenstate at Purok Malakas
Goldenstate College opens its PRE-SCHOOL Department for the coming School Year 2008-2009. The Pre-School department of the College is located at Corner Lotus Road and Nunez Street, Purok Malakas this City.  
It aims to accommodate pre-schoolers from ages 1.5 to 4 years old who are interested to attend school and play at the same time. The Principal, Ms. Easter Glory Munasque spearheads the operation of the Pre-School taking into account her 30 year experience as pre-school teacher. Other teachers are trained abroad and have taught in different schools in Manila is an addition to the positive features of the pre-school department.
